Career Pathways and Professional Requirements

All Candidates Must

  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent

  • Have strong customer service and communication skills

  • Be at least 18 years old (21+ for driving positions)

  • Pass employment background checks and random drug/alcohol screenings

Public Sector Positions

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the security industry

  • OSHA trained and certified in construction safety and health

  • Licensed by the NYS Department of State, Division of Licensing Services

Private Sector Positions

  • Complete 8–16 hours of required training

  • Licensed by the NYS Department of State, Division of Licensing Services
